He ended up basically running into the back of me. And those of you who know me, know I am a pretty big guy. He kind of bouced off, I barely budged. There are bands out there that just thrash around and people actually go to the show to run around in these mosh pits and thats fine.

However, there are bands where most of the people are there to enjoy the band, and not mosh. If you are at a show and start moshing around and nobody else joins in, then stop! You are amongst people who dont want to partake in that sort of shit. You will piss us off, and if you catch me at the wong time, I will hit you extremly hard.

I was at a show last year and the guy kept smashing into me. I grabbed the back of his shirt, I was so mad that I actually grabbed the skin under the shirt too (ouch for him), and I just flat out tossed him. He left me alone after that.

Megadeth!

Last night I went to Gigantour to see Megadeth.

There were a bunch of other bands including Fear Factory and Anthrax, and various others.

Fear Factory sucked! Its hard to classify it, but since it affect both my personal and working life a great deal, I will post it both on this blog as well as "Customers Suck" Enjoy...

So I was almost fired a few days ago. Suprisingly, it had nothing to do with a customer. Oh and by the way if you happen to work with me, do NOT bring this up while you are there... thank you :)

Those of you who know me, know that I can be quite sarcastic at times... I like to try to be funny and I guess I am just not always good at it (I know Dennis!). So this one girl I work with is having apparently a bad day. She starts telling me how grumpy she is and how she doesnt want to be there. So I ask her why she doesn't quit then. She said something about money... I dont know exactly... wish I could remember word for word. Bottom line though was, she said "...I work hard for my money." And with a meaning of implicating that she doesnt work hard, I said "Where on the streets? You must not make very much".

I don't know why she had to go be a cow about the whole situation, she is usually pretty sarcastic herself. But what ever, I can pretend to be nice :) I have fantisized about running her over with a car... It'd be fun... I obviously wouldnt really, but I saw her sitting on the ground waiting for the bus today and it was SO TEMPTING! LOL.

I thought it was funny at the time... and if you know I am joking I think most people would laugh. Unfortunatly sarcasim can be evil and if someone decides to, they can get you in BIG SHIT. I am currently suspended from work with no pay for a couple days. That may not sound like much, but its a large chunk of money!

I hindsight, I REALLY need to learn to keep my big mouth shut. And I am done with sarcasim at work... I hope I dont explode from keeping it all in.

How do you eat your pizza?

I like to eat mine with a knife and fork... If you happen to be one of the lucky people who know me personally, then you know that I LOVE Rock and Metal Music. So what better event than Ozzfest for me!

After a small car accident and a few other misc. stops, we finally found our way to the venue just outside of Seattle in Auburn at around 11 am. The White River Ampitheater was a great place for this concert. The first band had gone on the secondary stage at about 9:40am, we werent really into these acts. Rob Zombie, who headlined the second stage, was by far the best act.

So at about 4:30pm it was time for the Main Stage Acts. We got in the General Admission area early and got a spot right up front. We vowed to say there until the bitter end. So we set ourselfs up for an extremley intense 6 hours!!

The first band was In Flames. Wow, I had never really heard them before, they was pretty good. Half agressive, half normal vocals. Im not big on agressive vocals, but the music was great!

Next up was Black Label Society. Holy crap are these guys ever fucking good!! Zakk Wylde absolutly rocks... his guitar solos are insane. The bass and drums were intense. The band is amazing to watch! They are refreshing and new in a stale market of music these days.

Next up was Shadows Fall. Im used to hearing these guys with their aggressive style vocals and just not being impressed. But seeing them live was different. I still am not a fan of their vocalist. He is a bit of a Big Goon! His dreadlocks go down to his knees whitch is kinda gross hygene wise. But the band was AMAZING! Their rythm guitarist is unbelivable to watch! I have never seen ANYONE make such fast chord changes. And he can sing too. I think he needs to have a solo band going. It would be something I'd be eager to hear!

So next we come to Mudvayne... Uhhhhh, what the fuck. They have a wierd "I hate everyfucking thing" persona image thing going. They really go for shock value; And then the singer will go off on kind words towards the US Armed Forces, and thanking all the roadies. Its such a contradiction. Again a band with agressive vocals, but with some normal thrown in. I didnt like the singing at all. But the band was INTENSE. This was the only band that put amps/speakers on the floor off the stage, holy shit could you feel the drums. The bass drum made the air around our legs blow like wind. The Bass Player was a crazy energetic nut, it was cool to watch him.

And then we come to:

My personal favourite band! I was not dissapointed! WOW WOW WOW! Playing favourites from the first four Iron Maiden albums, the band was in fantastic form. I had forgotten how good their sound is live. Their distinctive sound was brought through with great equipment. It was awsome to see songs played live that I thought they would never play again! Revelations was by far the highlight of the set, and they finished with great crowd sing-along favourites: Iron Maiden, Running Free, and Sanctuary. At one point Bruce had us all singing "IM RUNNING FREE, YEAH", encouraging us by telling us to sing it how ever we would like: high opera singer style, or low agressive like Slipknot. I was blown away, Bruce Dickinson's vocals were as good as ever. Dave Murray, Adrian Smith, and Janick Gers were just killer on guitar. Nico McBrain was uneblivably fast, and Steve Harris thundered on the Bass Guitar. If I never see another show again, I will die happy!

The last band of the night was Black Sabbath. There have been no new Sabbath songs in a long time so its always a fun set of favourites. It was Amazing to hear them live. Ozzy is not at his best these days. Still a waky nut and its fun to watch his antics of course, but his health has the better of him these days and it hurts his singing a bit. Toni Iommi was crazy tho, I love seeing that guy play. Hearing Iron Man and Children of the Grave live made me feel nostalgic.

Conspiracy Theory: Gas Prices

So back in the early 1970's there was an oil crisis. Oil costs sky-rocketed and the cost of gas went up to follow suit.

Cars at the time were big! And the engines were insanly huge gas suction machines... my favourite type...

So in response, smaller, more fuel efficent cars were created to help ease the pain.

Since the end of that crisis, it seems cars have gotten gradualy bigger and contian those same huge engines. SUV's are still a relativly new type of vehicle.

All of a sudden, the cost of oil has shot up again, it has trippled in the last 3-4 years. My theory is someone heavily invested in the automotive industry is in a position of power involving oil production.

It makes no sense, why are they purposly refining less oil?

Welcome To My Mind...

My mind is full of alot of useless shit.
